Kommetjie Beach

Cardin is very familiar with Kommetjie as he once had a studio and gallery not far from there. The beach has a wonderful walkway which takes you past the Kommetjie lighthouse. The name Kommetjie, meaning ‘little bowl’, is derived from a natural pool which has been closed off by a low concrete wall.
